Their music keeps Jerry awake, so he takes action. His first strike silences them only long enough for him to return to his hole. They lure him out by restarting the music, and the chase is on: four against one. Jerry holds out for a while, but is soon tied with the cord from the venetian blinds, and the cats resume. Jerry manages to crawl to the phone and call Mammy, who comes running and throws all four cats out. But Jerry's peace is short-lived: Mammy decides to salvage what's left of the evening by listening to some music.

Hey Hey It's Saturday was a long-running variety television program on Australian television. It initially ran for 27 years, debuting on the Nine Network on 9 October 1971 and broadcasting its last episode on 20 November 1999. Its host throughout its entire run was Daryl Somers, who would later become executive producer of the program. The original producer, Gavin Disney, left the program in the 1980s and Somers then jointly formed his own production company, Somers Carroll Productions, with on-screen partner Ernie Carroll, the performer of Somers' puppet sidekick Ossie Ostrich. On 25 July 2009, the Nine Network announced the show would return for two reunion specials in late 2009 and hinted if they rated strongly, the show could return full-time. The first reunion show aired on 30 September 2009 and the second on 7 October and both won the ratings on their respective nights. On 7 December 2009, it was announced that the show was planned to return in 2010 with a speculated run of 20 episodes. During the 2010 premiere on Wednesday 14 April, it was indicated that the 20-episode run would be split into two groups, with a break between them, and the second group was broadcast on Saturday nights from 16 October 2010 with the season finale on 27 November 2010. The show did not return in 2011 and as of 2012, there has been no announcement of it ever coming back on air.

Friday Night, Saturday Morning was a television chat show with a revolving guest host. It ran on BBC2 from 28 September 1979 to 2 April 1982, broadcast live from the Greenwood Theatre, a part of Guy's Hospital. It was most notable for being the only television show to be hosted by a former British Prime Minister and for an argument about the blasphemy claims surrounding the movie Monty Python's Life of Brian. The programme was the idea of Iain Johnstone and Will Wyatt, who insisted on a changing presenter every fortnight. Another innovation was that the presenters chose the guests they were to interview.
Premier Soccer Saturday was formally the principal weekly club association football programme on RTÉ. In June 2013 RTÉ Sport confirmed that due to cost cutting initiative's to save the station up to €1.3m a year, it will no longer have the Irish rights to television coverage of the Premier League, with the 2012-13 Premier League season being the final season shown on RTÉ Sport. It was broadcast on RTÉ Two every Saturday evening between 19:30 and 21:00 and occasionally on Sunday during the English league soccer season, showing highlights of Premier League football matches. When the show was aired on a day other than Saturday, it used the appropriately customised title. The programme only showed English association football, as Monday Night Soccer covers Irish association football. The most recent theme tune for the show was a cover of the Republica song, "Bloke".

ESPN Sports Saturday is an American sports anthology series produced by the ESPN sports network. Hosted by Hannah Storm, it premiered at 4 p.m. ET April 3, 2010 on the American Broadcasting Company. ESPN, which like ABC is controlled by The Walt Disney Company, has handled ABC's sports coverage since 2006 under the ESPN on ABC umbrella, and ESPN Sports Saturday could be considered a descendent of ABC's Wide World of Sports. Content on the series initially included Winners Bracket, a segment consisting of highlights, plus other ESPN documentary programs, including Homecoming with Rick Reilly, 30 for 30 and E:60. Episodes will air on Saturdays through August, then resume at the conclusion of the NCAA Division I FBS football season. Upon the show's return after the college football season, the Winners Bracket hour of the block was replaced by a new weekly discussion series showcasing the best of the ESPN sports discussion shows which provide all new exclusive content on the upcoming week's big events and match-ups.

It featured tracks around the United States, although it frequently featured tracks in the Indianapolis area. Various racing series were televised, including Silver Crown, midget, and sprint cars. The series witnessed drivers like Jeff Gordon's rise prior to moving to NASCAR. It also witness the death of driver Rich Vogler. During the summer of 1993, the program also featured the Fastmasters series.

The program's current format is in two-parts: the first part features the newest movies and DVD releases, with behind-the-scene clips and information. The second part features the host and a guest commenting on two newest releases in the cinemas. At the end of the review, the host and the guest grade each movie, from zero to five stars, based on its acting, screenplay and overall. Previously, the program is aired on Thursdays. Commencing November 2002, it was moved to Saturdays, with a major change in format by introducing guest film reviewers into the show to review two new movies with the host.
